So, What Does It Take to be a young Muslim Woman in this day and age?

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

So, what does it take to be a young Muslim woman in this day and age?

It takes a whole lot.

Because everywhere you turn, something is calling you away from the future Allah wrote for you. From the truth that grounds you. From the values that were never meant to be trendy, but timeless.

There are entire systems and movements designed to unravel your clarity. To water down your ethics. To tell you that modesty is shame, that submission is oppression, and that your Deen is a prison. But they don’t tell you the full story. They don’t tell you what happens when you trade your soul for validation. They don’t tell you the cost of becoming what you're not.

And that’s why so many are lost.

That’s why impostor syndrome thrives; not because we aren’t enough, but because we’re swimming against a tide that praises rebellion over righteousness. That makes stupidity go viral. That makes aesthetics louder than truth. Where misguidance is dressed up as da’wah, and influencers do more influencing than the Qur’an does.

And in this chaos, you're expected to figure it all out.

To be young.
To be Muslim.
To be clear.
To raise your head high when everything is trying to keep it bowed in confusion.
To raise children when the world is determined to raise them for you.

So yes……it takes a whole lot….It takes conviction when your voice shakes. It takes truth when all you have is a whisper. It takes remembering that Allah honored your womanhood before the world ever tried to redefine it.

But you don’t have to be loud to be seen and confident. You don’t have to go viral to have value and Lead. You don’t have to follow their path when Allah already carved out one for you filled with mercy, clarity, and purpose.

This isn’t just about being a woman.

This is about being His.

And that will always be enough.

If you made it to the end, please don’t forget to share!
